But what if it was? Off the Street Club, a nonprofit children's organization in one of the most violent neighborhoods of Chicago, needs to raise money each year to remain open. In 2017, we were tasked with hosting a fundraiser for the club, and simultaneously tackling one of the most prominent issues in fundraising: apathy. Most Chicago residents on the North side are extremely disconnected from the violence on the West/South sides of Chicago, so we brought the violence to their neighborhoods.
